Showit: $288 / year. This is my website host and I am obsessed with them. SO easy to customize and it feels ALIVE! I came from a Squarespace site, which truly felt like I was put in a box now that I have Showit. The capabilities are endless and they also have a WordPress integration for blogging which also connects with Narrative so you have the trifecta. The customer service is next level and are always available to help you. You never feel alone because you have the chat feature or a billion articles with answers to your FAQs.
Lightroom: $120 / year. If you are a photographer, you need this because this is the application you edit all your images with. There is a bundle with Photoshop that many people opt in for.
Photo Mechanic: $139 one time payment. This is the application I use to cull all of my images and organize them and even pick photos that I want to blog. It will cut your culling time in half and never make you hate this part again.
Unfold: $19.88 / year. This application is what I use to post my stories after a session and sometimes use it for my carousels. Super easy to use, and so cute! I have purchased the yearly subscription to get the film look. Worth every penny for brand recognition and consistency.
SCRL: This is how I make my fun little carousels for Instagram. Some people prefer photoshop but this is so much easier. You will spend way too much time on your first couple, and then it gets easy the more you use it. It saves directly to your phone or even Instagram, right after you finish it. It also saves drafts so you can batch them together in one day if you would like.
Momento: $30 / year to make GIFs. Once again, an easy out from using photoshop and gives you moving photographs in a minute. You can also save directly to your phone or instagram.
Inshot: $34 one time purchase. You’ll notice I put stories and reels together with fun transitions and effects and I do all of that through this app. It makes me feel like a videographer without being a videographer. Also, instagram announced that they are no longer a photo sharing app so you definitely want this for reel creation.
UNUM: Currently using the free version, but this is where I will plan out my feed for about a month to make sure my face shows up in every 9 squares, the colors all blend and contrast and see how cohesive it will all look when all is said and done. Next I will be trying Facebook Creator Studio because I can add captions and tag people and not get dinged because Facebook and Instagram have the same creator. Scheduled posts from outside applications generally don’t perform as well.
Monday: If you are growing a team, you want this. I use it to build boards for different retreats, workshops, sections of the client experience, logging blogs, adding in priorities, etc. This is so much easier than sending emails back and forth. Each team member has access to everything or certain boards, however you want to use it, and can post on boards and leave comments and check in the progress with buttons saying, working on it, stuck, or completed. You can also add in deadlines to make sure everyone is on track.
I know, there are a lot but honestly they all serve a big purpose and make my life so much easier. I have attached discount codes to the ones that offer it to get you some $$ off on your first year. You’ll love them all so much that it will become a yearly subscription.
Happy businessing + making your life 100x easier with these apps!
